Join us for a faculty panel presentation involving representation from several departments:
- David Shonnard, Chemical Engineering

These faculty members will address several pressing issues, including:
- How do you or can you include sustainability issues in your curriculum?
- In your field of study, what are some of the economic benefits to sustainability?
- What are some major environmental issues in your field, and what type of work is eing done to resolve those issues?
- The theme of this year's Earth Week is Green Building Design: the design and construction of buildings that have a low impact on the environment during construction and use. What sorts of technologies in your field play a role in green buildings?
- Are there activities in your department is which students who are interested in sustainability can participate? (specific classes, seminars, extra-curricular projects, competitions, professional group activities, etc., etc...)
- For students in your field of study who would like to work towards a more sustainable future, what types of jobs are available?
